Gajar Ka Gajrela | गाजर का गजरेला । Gajjar ka special Halwa
I am Nisha Madhulika.
Today we will make Gajrela.
Gajrela is made from carrots and milk.
This is winter special recipe.
You will relish eating it.
To make Gajrela first of all, put milk to boil.
This is 500 ml milk. This is full cream milk.
Turn on flame and let milk boil.
We have taken 4 carrots, 500 gms by weight.
Remove both the ends from the carrot.
Grate the carrots.
Carrots have these prominent yellow part.
It is not very sweet.
Grate it from all sides.
Carrots are grated and ready.
Milk is boiling.
Add grated carrot to the milk.
Cook until dense.
Till the carrot and milk becomes dense.
Till then let’s chop the dry fruits,
and make cardamom powder.
Cut the almonds into fine pieces.
Cut cashews into 2 halves.
We have 4 green cardamoms,
If you grind and peel the cardamom,
then it becomes convenient.
Gajrela is cooked.
It has reached the desired consistency.
Add sugar and mix well.
Let’s roast dry fruits for it.
You can add dry fruits even without roasting.
It tastes good when roasted.
Ghee has melted.
Add cashews and almonds.
Slightly roast them.
Cashew almond are slightly roasted.
It is fragrant.
Do not roast it much.
Add a little dry fruits, save some for garnishing.
Add cardamom powder to it, mix well.
Gajrela is ready.
Take it out in a bowl.
Garnish with a bit of dry fruits.
Yummy Gajrela is ready.
You can serve it steaming hot.
you can serve it chilled too.
It tastes amazing anyways.
